2. Scope

These General Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to all services offered by ECU Facile, including:

• electronic diagnosis,
• control unit repair (ECU, BSI/UCH/BCM, TCU, ABS/ESP, airbag, instrument cluster, infotainment…),
• cloning, adaptation or resetting to a virgin state,
• specific solutions (immobiliser off, emulator, subject to feasibility).

Any order implies full acceptance of these GTCs.

3. Nature of the services

The services performed by ECU Facile are electronic technical services, carried out on used components belonging to the customer.

ECU Facile is subject to duty to use reasonable efforts, and not a duty to guarantee a result.
No functional result can be guaranteed until the control unit has been tested in the customer's vehicle.

4. Ordering process

1. The customer makes a request via the Contact / Support form or by email.
2. A feasibility assessment is based on the information provided.
3. A quotation is communicated to the client.
4. Upon acceptance of the quote, the customer will ship his module at his own expense.
5. The service is performed after receipt and validation of the equipment.

ECU Facile reserves the right to refuse any support if the module is deemed not exploitable.

5 Diagnosis and repairability

Diagnosis is performed on an electronic bench where possible.

In the case of:

• irreversible damage,
• components not available,
• corrupt or unexploitable data,

ECU Facile may:

• propose an alternative solution,
• or determine that repair is not possible.

No disassembly will be charged without prior agreement.

6. Prices

Prices are shown in euros (€), excluding shipping costs.
The rates may be:

• fixed,
• or quoted according to the module type and complexity.

ECU Facile reserves the right to change its tariffs at any time.
The invoiced price is the price validated at the time of the order.

7. Payment

Payment is due before the equipment is returned to the customer, unless otherwise agreed.

The method of payment accepted on the site is the bank transfer. Include the order number in the bank transfer reference.

No return will be made without full settlement.

8 Shipping and returns

• Shipping to ECU Facile is the responsibility of the customer.
• The return is made to the address indicated by the customer.
• ECU Facile disclaims any liability for loss or damage during carriage.

Tracked and insured shipping is recommended.

9. Lead times

The deadlines are indicative.
They may vary according to:

• workshop load,
• the complexity of the breakdown,
• availability of components.

No delay will give rise to compensation.

10. Warranty

Repairs by ECU Facile are guaranteed only on the intervention carried out, excluding:

• poor installation,
• fault external to the control unit,
• electrical problem of the vehicle,
• subsequent reprogramming,
• intervention by a third party.

The guarantee is cancelled in the event of:

• opening of the housing,
• signs of soldering or tampering,
• subsequent mechanical damage or corrosion.

11. Disclaimers

ECU Facile cannot be held responsible:

• an initial misdiagnosis provided by the client,
• a defect occurring elsewhere in the vehicle,
• a software or mechanical problem not related to the repaired module.

No compensation can be claimed for vehicle immobilization or loss of operation.

12. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply personalised or performed services on goods supplied by the customer.

Payment is due for any work started with the customer’s agreement.

13 Personal data

The data collected is used only for order processing and customer communication.
No data are transferred to third parties.

14. Applicable law and litigation

These Terms and Conditions are subject to French law.

If a dispute arises, an amicable resolution will be sought first.
Otherwise, the competent courts will be those within the jurisdiction of the company's headquarters.
